Are you a passionate and inspiring Drama and Theatre practitioner looking to take the next step in your teaching career?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and committed Drama and Theatre Studies Teacher to join a forward-thinking and creative performing arts faculty at a secondary school starting this September.

You will:

• Deliver a broad and balanced Drama and Theatre curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)

• Foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment where students are encouraged to explore their creative potential

• Contribute to a vibrant extracurricular programme including productions, performances, and drama clubs

• Plan, prepare, and assess student work to ensure all learners make progress and achieve their potential

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to drive forward creative arts education across the school community

• Hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant degree in Drama, Theatre, or Performing Arts

• Have experience teaching in secondary schools (including through placements if ECT)

• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for creative, student-centred learning

• Be confident using a range of teaching strategies and resources, including technology, to enhance learning

• Be committed to raising standards and promoting a positive learning culture

• Possess excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

• Be enthusiastic about contributing to wider school life, particularly through creative extracurricular activities
