A dynamic mixed academy in Camden is seeking a passionate Drama Teacher to join their performing arts department from September. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students and develop their theatrical talents.

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and creative Drama lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.


• Direct and produce school plays and performances.


• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.


• Work within the school's performing arts department, collaborating with colleagues in music and dance.


• Develop and implement a range of extracurricular drama activities, including after-school clubs and workshops.


• Organize theatre visits and invite professional practitioners to the school.

Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.


• Strong subject knowledge and experience in drama education.


• Ability to direct and produce school productions, including technical aspects such as lighting and sound.


• Experience in a variety of drama techniques and styles.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
