About the Role

A well-established and creative secondary school in Derbyshire is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Teacher of Drama to join its Performing Arts faculty from January 2026. This full-time, permanent position offers the opportunity to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, and to contribute to an already thriving arts programme at the heart of school life.

About You

You’ll bring:

• QTS, PGCE or equivalent qualification in Drama or Performing Arts


• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for engaging students in performance and theatre-making


• The ability to plan inspiring lessons that develop confidence and creativity


• Excellent communication and classroom management skills


• Enthusiasm for contributing to the wider life of the school through productions and enrichment
