Responsibilities

• Delivering high-quality drama lessons to students in primary and secondary education


• Creating and delivering engaging and dynamic lesson plans


• Collaborating with colleagues to develop and direct school productions


• Assessing and providing feedback on students' progress and performance


• Supporting the development of students' confidence and communication skills through drama


• Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students


• Keeping up to date with advancements in drama education and incorporating them into teaching practice

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Drama or a relevant field


• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent


• Proven experience teaching drama to primary or secondary school students


• Strong knowledge of drama education curriculum


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to inspire and engage students in the performing arts


• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively as part of a team


• Passion for drama education and fostering students' creativity and confidence
