Drama Teacher Vacancy - Temporary Position

Location: Independent Girls' School, Salisbury
Contract: Temporary (September to Christmas, with potential for permanent extension)
Start Date: September 2024

We are seeking a dedicated and talented Drama Teacher to join our vibrant independent girls' school in Salisbury. This temporary role covers from September to Christmas but may be extended to a permanent position if the candidate wishes to become Head of the Drama Department and demonstrates suitability for the role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging drama lessons to students of all abilities.


• Develop and implement a curriculum that meets educational standards.


• Encourage students' creativity and confidence through performance and dramatic arts.


• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support.


• Contribute to school productions and extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

• Degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or a related field.


• Experience teaching drama at the secondary school level.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Passion for fostering students' creativity and confidence.


• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
