Draughtperson

We are looking for a pro-active Draughtsperson to join our highly successful R&D team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to utilise their draughting skills to enable the development and qualification of new products by the timely completion of part and assembly drawings according to specification.  This position will also provide drafting support for production in the creation of designs and drawings for tooling manufacture.

The position, based in our Aberdeen office and reporting to the Sustaining Design Team Lead and will provide draughting support to the R&D department.  Working with project team they will ensure drawings are produced as well as helping to develop and implement in-house design procedures.

The Ideal candidate will have HNC in mechanical engineering or relevant industry experience.  It is essential to have good experience with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks), as it is necessary to be both quick and accurate.  Candidate must have the ability to work to tight deadlines and manage a heavy workload. Most Importantly the candidate must have an enthusiasm to learn, work well as part of a team, and have excellent communication skills.
