Draughtsman

Our engineering client is currently looking for a 2D draftsperson - The ideal candidate will have experience of working with sheet metal / steel fabrication.

The role will be working within the Architectural Design department, covering a wide range of products and varied projects in the UK and Europe. In-house training will be given in company procedures, document management and standard products.

Responsibilities

* Draw, update, and maintain designs

* Manage multiple complex projects at the same time

* Ensure our designs meet manufacturing, technical and customer Responsibilities

* Producing CAD models and drawings.

* Creating Bills of Materials / Parts Lists.

* Detail drawings for manufacture in UK and Europe.

* Upkeep of project documentation and drawing revisions.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills / experience

* Experienced Cad Draftsperson.

* 2d Autodesk and AutoCAD.

* Sheet Metal, Steel Fabrication, Special Purpose Machinery

* Minimum 5 years’ experience within a similar field or role (preferred)

Hours
Monday to Thursday 8-30am to 5-15pm
Friday 8-30am to 1-00 pm.

Salary:
£38,000p/a - £45,000p/a
Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
