We are seeking a highly motivated, creative, and dedicated Reception Teacher to join our team from March 2025. This role will initially be a maternity cover until July 2025, with the exciting possibility of a permanent contract in September 2025. As a Reception Teacher, you will have the opportunity to shape the early educational experiences of our youngest students, nurturing their curiosity and love of learning.

The Role:

• Lead a Reception class in a nurturing and stimulating environment, ensuring every child’s learning and development needs are met


• Deliver engaging, interactive, and creative lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum, fostering a love of learning and curiosity


• Promote a positive, inclusive classroom culture where each child feels valued, supported, and encouraged to grow


• Build strong relationships with parents and carers, ensuring a collaborative approach to each child’s holistic development


• Embrace and support the Catholic ethos of the school, helping to nurture values of compassion, respect, and resilience in every child

What We’re Looking For:

• A qualified teacher (QTS) with experience in EYFS and/or KS1 and a proven track record of outstanding classroom practice


• A deep understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum, with the ability to inspire creativity and foster independent thinking


• A commitment to the Catholic values of the school, ensuring a caring and respectful learning environment


• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents


• A passion for supporting children’s social, emotional, and academic growth through engaging, personalised learning experiences
