Your Job

As a customer-facing driver, you will be responsible for delivering civils and drainage products to our customers in Broxburn and the surrounding areas. Your duties will include:

• Efficient & Safe Operation: Ensure the vehicle is operated efficiently and safely.
• Compliance: Adhere to all vehicle and driver legislation.
• Timely Deliveries: Complete and deliver orders to JDP customers on time.
• Customer Service: Represent JDP at the point of delivery, providing excellent customer service and upholding JDP's strong reputation.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Minimum Class C Licence: Essential for operating our vehicles.
• Driver CPC card: Essential.
• Digital Tacho Card: Essential for compliance.
• Haib qualification : Essential 
• Health & Safety Knowledge: Understanding of workplace safety.
• Driver Procedures: Detailed knowledge of driving hours rules and regulations.
• Route Planning: Ability to determine the most efficient delivery routes.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Forklift Truck Experience: Advantageous but not essential.
