Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity at our Longtown Branch for a hardworking and customer-focused individual to join our team in a hybrid role that offers variety, flexibility, and the chance to be part of a supportive team. This is a split role where your time will be divided between Driving duties - Delivering our high-quality products to customer premises using our branded pick-up in a professional and timely manner and Branch Support - Assisting with yard operations, including loading, and unloading vehicles, and supporting day-to-day branch activities

This role involves:

• Delivering a wide range of high-quality Civils and Drainage products to customers in Longtown and the surrounding areas. In this role, you will be expected to
• Ensure efficient & safe operation of the vehicle
• Strive to complete on time delivery of orders to JDP customers, sometimes at short notice
• Providing customers with product and service information
• Pick customer orders accurately
• Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles using a forklift truck
• Process orders accurately, within a time dictated by the customer deadline
• Serve customers on the trade counter when required
• Customer interaction

Essential:

• Full UK driving driving license
• An understanding of Health & Safety in a work environment
• Experience in efficient route planning
• Excellent communication and customer service

Required:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Literacy & Numeracy

Desirable:

• Warehouse/yard experience
• A good knowledge of computers
• Forklift truck licence
