Monday to Sunday on rota basis

Working Monday -Sunday (5 days out of 7) on a mix of 7am-3pm and 8am-4pm

Overview

We are looking for Porters/Drivers to join our friendly team. Joining us as a Porter Driver you'll become a member of NHS Professionals staff bank. By becoming a bank member, you can access the first choice of long- or short-term placements and shifts, before they are available to agency staff. Duties will include

Receiving goods inwards, checking quality, quantity, and temperature, and placing into appropriate storage areas.
Following a stock rotation system in accordance with Departmental procedure, placing commodities into appropriate storage areas.
Processing delivery notes against orders placed recording discrepancies.
Waste disposal and recycling, this to include removal of cardboard, metals, plastic and food.
Driving vehicles safely, and with due regard to other road users, speed restrictions, pedestrians, obstructions etc if applicable.

You'll have the following skills/experience

Experience in a similar role.
A full car driving licence is essential.
Stores and/or distribution experience.
To provide a general catering, portering and driver service to the Catering Department.
