Driver - Transport

We are seeking skilled and dedicated Driver(s) to join our Transport team. Responsible for transporting goods from one place to another by driving a van. Monday to Friday 06:30am-15:00pm. The delivery of heavy goods, such as windows and doors, van drivers may require working as a team. We require our drivers to wear a uniform.

Responsibilities:

• We will provide the Van
• Usual working day is from 6:30am-3pm. However, when long distance deliveries need to be made, you may be required to complete overtime.

Your Duties:

• Load deliveries from our Wellingborough-based Factory.
• Make deliveries to our Customers around England.
• Be able to load and unload some heavy items such as Windows, doors (25kg).
• When there are no deliveries, you may be required to help loading, restocking in the warehouse

You will need to:

• Have UK Driver's License and clean Driving Record.
• Have Passport or documents to prove your entitlement to work in the UK
• Have at least basic English reading and speaking ability
• Be flexible in working days and working hours
• Be punctual. Deliveries have to be made on time.

Desirable:

• Be comfortable with lifting heavy items
• Be a great team player
• Be respectful to our customers - you will be representing our Company
• Ideally have experience as a Van Driver but it is not essential

You may also have experience in the following: Van driver, Driver, HGV, Distribution, Multi Drop, LGV Driver, Heavy Goods Vehicle, Multidrop Driver, Class 1 Driver, Multi Drop Driver, Certificate of Professional Competence, CPC, Lorry Driver, etc.
