⏰ 37 Hours Per Week | Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm
We are recruiting for a Driver / Warehouse Assistant to join a busy Housing Association in Essex, supporting maintenance and operational teams across the region.

Key Duties

Deliver and collect materials, tools, and equipment across multiple sites
Support warehouse operations and maintain stock levels
Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently
Remove and dispose of waste in line with company procedures
Keep accurate records of deliveries, collections, and stock movements
Assist with basic preparation and warehouse duties
Ensure tools, equipment, and vehicles are safe, compliant, and well-maintained
Maintain high standards within the warehouse and storage areas

Requirements

Full UK Driving Licence (suitable for driving a Vauxhall E-Vivaro and Ford Transit)
Experience within a warehouse, maintenance, facilities, or similar environment
Good understanding of Health & Safety and manual handling procedures
Strong organisational and communication skills
Basic IT skills
Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently

Desirable

Social Housing experience
Joinery or Carpentry experience

Additional Information

Based in Chelmsford, with travel across Essex as required
Interviews can be conducted face-to-face or via Microsoft Teams, with face-to-face preferred
No DBS required
Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
