Driver Warehouse Operative

HRGO are recruiting Driver/Warehouse Operatives for our client in Exeter. This is a great opportunity to work for a large distribution company, the opportunity will be temporary to permanent - immediate starts are available! This is a hands-on role combining delivery driving with warehouse duties, ideal for someone comfortable on the road and in a warehouse environment.

Hours: Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm, with every other Saturday 8am-12pm

Location: Marsh Barton, Exeter

Pay: £12.71 per hour, paid weekly

Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles to deliver and collect goods on scheduled routes
Load and unload vehicles, ensuring correct quantities and secure handling of items
Pick, pack and prepare orders accurately for dispatch
Operate warehouse equipment as required (trolley, pallet truck)
Perform vehicle and equipment checks and complete delivery paperwork / electronic logs
Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment and follow health & safety proceduresRequirements

Valid Full UK Driving Licence, with no more than 6 points
Previous experience in driving and/or warehouse work
Good communication skills, punctuality and a positive, team-minded attitude
