Driver / Yard Assistant - Farnborough

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Driver / Yard Assistant to join our clients busy team based in Farnborough. This is a varied role that involves delivering plant equipment to customers and job sites, maintaining a tidy and well-organised yard and workshop, and supporting the fitters with day-to-day tasks.

Experience of driving with a trailer is essential for this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering plant machinery and goods using a panel van and trailer
• Cleaning and maintaining machinery and equipment
• Assisting in the workshop with loading/unloading and general support
• Keeping the workshop and yard clean, organised, and safe
• Helping to keep the parts store stocked and in order
• Assisting fitters with mechanical tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Experience driving a van and trailer
• Forklift licence (preferred)
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling
• Organised and self-motivated with a 'can do’ attitude
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
