We are currently recruiting for a Driver / Yard Operative to join a busy vehicle operations team based in Thurleigh.
This is a hands-on role involving the safe movement of vehicles around the site, vehicle checks and general yard duties. You’ll be working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment where safety, reliability and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Driving and positioning vehicles around the yard and site
Carrying out basic vehicle checks and reporting any damage or issues
Moving vehicles to the correct locations efficiently and safely
Assisting with general yard and vehicle preparation duties
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
Following all site health & safety procedures
Working effectively as part of a busy teamAbout YouWe’re looking for someone who is:

Safety-conscious with good attention to detail
Flexible and willing to undertake a variety of yard duties
Previous experience in a vehicle compound, car auction, logistics or yard environment is advantageousRequirements
A full UK driving licence is required
Good driving experience and confidence manoeuvring different vehicles
