CNC Recruitment are proud to support a new and innovative despatch and courier business, with 2 current depots in somerset, our client is looking to find, professional, reliable drivers to join their growing team,

Job type – Full Time, Permanent  

Location – Somerset Area

Working hours – Full Time & Part Time roles available (hours TBC) roughly 4–6-hour shift

Pay – £12.50ph plus a parcel premium – great earning potential, 0.60p per parcel delivered.

Licence Required - 3.5 tonne – B license

Key Responsibilities:

• Safe and Efficient Driving: Operating the vehicle safely and adhering to traffic laws and regulations. 
• Route Planning: Planning and optimizing routes to ensure timely deliveries and efficient transportation. 
• Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service, interacting with clients, and handling any issues that arise. 
• Loading and Unloading: Handling the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring they are secure during transport. 
• Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and deliveries. 
• Communication: Communicating with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues. 

• Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license appropriate – B license, 3.5 tonne
• Driving Experience: Relevant driving experience, with a van ideally
• Customer Service Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients and colleagues. 
• Problem-Solving: Ability to handle unexpected situations and resolve issues effectively. 
• Physical Fitness: Depending on the role, physical fitness may be required for loading, unloading, and long periods of driving. 
• Technical Skills: Basic computer skills for using navigation systems, tracking software, and other relevant
