Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver inspiring and inclusive DT lessons to students.


• Create a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and critical thinking.


• Assess and provide timely feedback on student progress and performance.

• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behaviour, and academic achievements.


• Effectively communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.


• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and extracurricular activities.


• Ensure the safety of students during DT lessons and adhere to health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject area.


• Prior teaching experience in Design and Technology.


• Strong knowledge of current educational trends and practices in DT education.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to manage a diverse classroom and cater to individual student needs.


• Organizational and time management skills.


• Familiarity with relevant software and technology used in DT teaching.
