Your Role as a Design Technology ECT

As a Design Technology ECT, your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering dynamic and engaging Design Technology lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.


• Tailoring your teaching to the diverse needs of your students, ensuring that every child has the support they need to succeed.


• Receiving continuous mentorship and guidance from experienced staff to help you grow as a teacher.


• Participating in a structured induction programme with regular CPD and feedback to develop your skills.


• Contributing to the wider school community, participating in extracurricular activities, and building positive relationships with students.
