Your Role as DT Teacher:

🔹 Deliver Inspiring Lessons – Teach a variety of DT topics, including product design, engineering, and materials technology.
🔹 Foster Practical Skills – Guide students through hands-on projects, encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and innovation.
🔹 Assess and Monitor Progress – Provide constructive feedback to help students develop their technical and creative skills.
🔹 Collaborate with Colleagues – Work with other departments to create cross-curricular opportunities for students.

Who We’re Looking For:

✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching design technology, preferably in an independent school setting.
✅ Passionate About DT – A genuine passion for design and technology with the ability to inspire students to develop practical and creative skills.
✅ Creative & Hands-On – A practical approach to teaching that encourages students to learn through hands-on projects.
✅ Skilled in Multiple Disciplines – A solid background in areas such as product design, engineering, and digital technologies, with the ability to teach across various disciplines.
✅ Empathetic & Supportive – A patient and understanding approach to teaching, supporting students of varying abilities.
✅ Strong Communication Skills – The ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents to support student development.
✅ An Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
