Your Role as DT Teacher:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Product Design, Engineering, Resistant Materials, or Graphics, depending on specialism.


• Introduce students to hands-on practical work and cutting-edge technologies such as CAD/CAM and 3D printing.


• Support students with coursework and develop their technical problem-solving abilities.


• Foster independent thinking and creativity, encouraging students to explore innovative design solutions.


• Contribute to the department’s extracurricular activities, such as STEM clubs and competitions.

Who We’re Looking For:

• A qualified Design & Technology Teacher with experience teaching across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable).


• Passion for practical, project-based learning and innovation in design.


• Strong knowledge of modern materials, construction methods, and digital design tools.


• Enthusiasm for integrating real-world applications into lessons to inspire students.


• Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
