The Role

• Teaching Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 depending on experience

• Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured practical and theory-based lessons

• Supporting pupils with coursework, NEA, and project-based learning

• Encouraging creativity, innovation, and technical skill development

• Maintaining high standards of health and safety within workshops

• Working collaboratively within a supportive and well-resourced department

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• A degree in Design & Technology or a related subject

• Experience teaching DT at secondary level

• Strong subject knowledge across one or more DT specialisms

• High expectations for pupil engagement, behaviour, and progress

• A professional, organised, and positive teaching approach
