ASAP start, busy and vibrant school role supporting in DT department, Full time role - Borehamwood, Hertfordshire

Tradewind Secondary are recruiting for a full time DT technician for a popular Secondary School in Borehamwood to start ASAP on an ongoing basis and support across their Technology department. This is a full time, long-term role with a daily rate of between £90-£115 p/day depending on experience, with the option to go permanent with the school for July 2026.

Duties will include; Preparing classrooms and equipment for lessons across the DT department, this will include DY / Woodwork and Food Technology and includes practical lessons. A current health and safety certificate is an advantage but not essential. Other duties will include printing resources, stoke taking and stock management, you will also be required to ensure classrooms are clean and tidy.

This is a modern School in a purpose built building that optimised teacher input when it was re-designed. As a result the school offers open learning spaces and well lit classrooms.

We are looking for staff who can demonstrate the ability to support the various different subjects of a busy and popular technology department, demonstrate your desire to work as a team and better the department.

You will be required to provide a full working history since leaving education.

An enhanced DBS Disclosure and Overseas Police Clearances, if applicable.
