is looking to appoint a proactive and skilled DT Technician from January 2026 to support its thriving Design Technology department.

The Role

You’ll work closely with teaching staff to prepare, maintain and organise equipment and materials across Resistant Materials, Graphics and Engineering. The role requires a practical mindset and a commitment to supporting students in hands-on learning.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and setting up tools, machines and materials for practical lessons.


• Ensuring safe working practices and maintaining machinery.


• Assisting with demonstrations and student project support.


• Ordering stock and managing department resources.


• Supporting Health & Safety audits and compliance documentation.

About You

You’ll ideally have experience in a workshop, engineering or school DT environment, along with an understanding of H&S procedures. A practical, problem-solving mindset is essential.
