Job Description - Dual Registered Manager

Job Scope:

We are recruiting for our client a dedicated and experienced Dual Registered Manager to oversee the safe, effective, and compliant delivery of care across domiciliary and supported living services. The Dual Registered Manager will be responsible for leading day-to-day operations, holding active CQC registration, and ensuring all care meets regulatory standards and is tailored to individual needs.

The Dual Registered Manager will provide strong, values-led leadership to multidisciplinary teams, ensuring effective supervision, recruitment, and training practices. They will manage care planning, risk assessments, and quality assurance processes, embedding a culture of continuous improvement and person-centred care. Acting as the safeguarding lead, the Dual Registered Manager will ensure robust safeguarding measures are upheld while also building trusted relationships with clients, families, and external partners. With responsibility for service growth, rota planning, and business development, the Dual Registered Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of care delivery, empowering staff and service users alike.

Essential qualifications:

  • Holds active CQC registration as a Registered Manager
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of leadership experience within domiciliary or homecare settings
  • In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations and safeguarding procedures
  • Skilled in building, managing, and motivating care teams to deliver high-quality support
  • Confident in using digital systems and maintaining accurate, organised records
  • Committed to delivering truly person-centred care through tailored planning and review

Desirable qualifications:

  • Background in supported living services or experience holding dual CQC registration
  • Familiar with service development processes, including tendering for care contracts
  • Holds a Train the Trainer qualification or open to obtaining it
  • Confident in facilitating in-house training sessions and mentoring less experienced staff
  • Possesses a valid driving licence
