A highly respected, award winning, multi-service law firm—recognised by Legal 500 and Chambers UK—is seeking Duty Solicitors to join its expanding Crime Team at their North London office. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team known for its commitment to access to justice and excellence in publicly funded legal work.
?? The Role You’ll play a crucial role in representing clients and managing a diverse criminal defence caseload. Key responsibilities include:

Representing clients at police stations
Managing a broad range of criminal cases
Conducting advocacy in Magistrates’ Court (and Crown Court, if Higher Rights are held)

? About You

A qualified Solicitor with at least 1 year’s PQE in criminal law
Crime duty accreditation is preferred (or willingness to obtain it)
Excellent advocacy and client care skills
Proficient with legal IT systems and case management tools
Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage a busy caseload
Committed to access to justice and publicly funded legal services
