DV CLEARED ELECTRICIANS REQUIRED – BERKSHIRE

Please note: Due to the nature of the project, applicants must hold active DV Clearance to be considered.

We are currently recruiting for 3 x DV Cleared Electricians on behalf of our client for a contract based in Berkshire, supporting works within a secure nuclear environment.

Position: DV Cleared Electrician
Location: Berkshire
Start Date: August 2026
Duration: August 2026 – October 2026 (with potential extension)
Rate: £43.75 - £50.00 per hour (£350 - £400 per day)
Payment: CIS
Hours: 07:30/08:00 – 15:30/16:00 (40 hours per week)
Overtime: Available

Essential Requirements

Active DV (Developed Vetting) Clearance – Mandatory
NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
Valid CSCS Card

Desirable

Previous experience working on Nuclear, Defence, MOD, or other high-security projects
Experience working within DV-cleared environments

Duties & Responsibilities

Carrying out electrical installation, inspection, testing, and maintenance activities within a warehouse environment on a nuclear facility.
Installation of cable containment systems including tray, basket, conduit, and trunking.
Installation and termination of power, lighting, and control cabling.
Fault finding, diagnostics, and rectification of electrical systems.
Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance works.
Electrical testing and commissioning support.
Working in accordance with permit-to-work systems, risk assessments, and method statements.
Ensuring compliance with site quality, safety, and nuclear industry standards.
Maintaining accurate documentation, inspection records, and test results.
