Erasmus+ Statement


The Department for Education has announced that the British Council has been nominated to take on the role of National Agency for Erasmus+.


Following the UK's return to Erasmus+, the British Council will deliver the programme across the UK on behalf of the Department for Education and the European Commission. We are recruiting talented individuals who are passionate about international collaboration and helping organisations access life-changing opportunities through Erasmus+.


Role Summary


Job Title: Erasmus+ Partner Finder
Pay Band: Grade 7 / Pay Band F
Salary: £30,839 per annum
Location: Belfast or Edinburgh (Hybrid)
Contract Type: Fixed-term, Full-time
Closing Date: Two weeks from advertisement


About the Role


The Partner Finder sits within the dedicated Erasmus+ Partner-Finding Team and plays a key role in helping organisations across the UK identify, engage and build relationships with suitable European partners.


Working under the guidance of the Senior Partner Finder, you will provide tailored advice and practical support to organisations across all four UK nations and multiple education, training, youth and sport sectors. You will help organisations establish sustainable international partnerships, increasing participation and supporting successful Erasmus+ projects.


Key Responsibilities




  • Provide tailored partner-finding advice and practical support to organisations.




  • Identify and engage suitable European partner organisations.




  • Facilitate introductions, matchmaking activities and relationship building.




  • Support organisations in developing balanced and sustainable partnerships.




  • Work collaboratively across all Erasmus+ sectors and UK nations.




  • Collaborate with Accreditation colleagues, Sector Leads and Ambassador networks.




  • Engage with European National Agencies and partner-finding networks.




  • Promote and support the use of Erasmus+ online partner-finding platforms.




  • Capture and analyse partner-finding activity and performance data.




  • Contribute to continuous improvement of partner-finding services and resources.




Essential Skills & Experience


We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:




  • Experience building and managing stakeholder relationships.




  • Strong communication and influencing skills.




  • Experience providing advice, guidance or brokerage services.




  • Excellent planning, organisation and prioritisation skills.




  • Analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and recommend solutions.




  • Experience managing multiple priorities within a customer-focused environment.




  • Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and stakeholders.




  • Confidence using digital platforms, databases and online collaboration tools.




  • Ability to work independently while contributing to wider team objectives.




Desirable




  • Knowledge of the Erasmus+ programme.




  • Experience working with European partners or National Agencies.




  • Experience within education, training, youth or sport sectors.




  • Understanding of international partnership development.
