Job Description - Early Career Information Scientist - Content Analytics & Data Science

NextLink is having an exciting position as an early -career Information Scientist to join our client team in Slough, UK, with an anticipated office move to Windlesham, Surrey.This 12 -month full -time role offers a unique opportunity to Hybrid/Remote, and contribute to cutting -edge research by leveraging data science and AI.

We are seeking an early -career Information Scientist with a
strong interest in content analytics, data science, and
programmatic approaches. This role involves applying scientific
knowledge alongside coding, data analysis, and AI -enabled methods to extract
insights from biomedical literature and external data.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and support programmatic workflows for
scientific data analysis

- Apply data science techniques to extract trends and insights

- Build automated pipelines for content analytics

- Use AI and NLP tools for text mining and summarisation

- Collaborate with cross -functional teams

- Support data governance and responsible AI practices

Requirements

Candidate Profile

Essential:

- Degree in life sciences, data science, or related field

- Basic programming skills

- Strong analytical skills

Desirable:

- Experience with NLP, machine learning, or scientific data

- Familiarity with metadata, ontologies, or knowledge graphs
