Job Description - Early Career Teacher

Are you an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher eager to begin your teaching journey in a supportive and inspiring environment? A thriving secondary school in Harrow is seeking passionate ECTs across a range of subjects to join their team from September 2026.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons across KS3–KS5

• Assessing and tracking student progress to ensure strong outcomes

• Building positive relationships with students, staff, and families

• Contributing to departmental planning and whole -school initiatives

Ideal candidates will have:

• QTS and a strong desire to grow as a classroom practitioner

• Passion for helping young people succeed

• Excellent communication and organisation skills

• A reflective, proactive approach to professional development

• Enthusiasm, resilience, and a commitment to inclusive teaching
