Pertemps Education Network is currently recruiting an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Educator to join a welcoming primary school in Lambeth.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator or Early Years Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting young children's learning, development and school readiness.

Working within a supportive Early Years team, you will play an important role in creating a safe, stimulating and engaging learning environment for children across Nursery and Reception.

The Role:
Support the delivery of engaging and age-appropriate learning activities in line with the EYFS framework.
Promote children's communication, language, physical, social and emotional development.
Support pupils through structured play, creative activities and practical learning experiences.
Encourage positive behaviour, independence and confidence.
Observe children's progress and contribute to assessments and developmental records.
Support children with their transition into primary education and prepare them for the next stages of learning.
Work closely with the class teacher and wider Early Years team to provide a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
Provide individual and small-group support where required.The Ideal Candidate:
A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years Education or a related subject is desirable.
Previous experience working within a Nursery, Reception or Early Years setting.
A good understanding of the EYFS framework and early childhood development.
Confident supporting children's communication, language and social development.
A warm, patient and nurturing approach.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
