The Role - Early Years Teacher

As an Early Years Teacher, you will lead a Reception class of pupils with Autism, delivering engaging sensory-based learning tailored to individual needs.

The successful Early Years Teacher will support pupils with:

Speech and language development
Social communication skills
Relationship building
Individual learning targets
Sensory and play-based learningYou may use communication methods including:

Makaton
PECS
AAC systems
Communication booksPrevious experience is welcomed, but full training and induction are provided.
