Job Title: Early Years Teaching Assistant
Location: Oldham
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term
Salary: £85-£95 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a passionate and experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Oldham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves working with young children and is confident supporting active learners in a classroom environment.

• Support pupils in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities

• Help manage classroom behaviour using effective and positive strategies

• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment

• Previous experience working in Early Years (Nursery or Reception)

• Strong behaviour management skills

• A proactive, enthusiastic, and patient approach

• A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 TA or Early Years Certificate) is desirable

This is a long-term position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The school is known for its inclusive ethos and supportive leadership team.
