EfW Maintenance Technician – Electrical, Control and Instrumentation
SUEZ are looking for an EC&I Maintenance Technician to join our team. You'll play a key role in maintaining critical plant systems, troubleshooting complex control equipment, and supporting safe, efficient operations.
About the role
Salary: £38,636- £51,687 depending on expereince* Desirable Criteria will need to be met for the very top of the banding
Benefits: up to 10% annual bonus, 3x life assurance policy, 25 days holiday (plus 8 bank holidays), 5% employer pension, sick pay and additional benefits
Hours: 37.5 hours per week Mon-Fri
Location: SUEZ Energy from Waste Facility - Richmond Hill - Braddan - Isle of Man – IM4 1JH
What will I be doing?
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across all electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure safe and reliable plant operation.
* Ensure all plant installations, upgrades and modifications comply with current wiring regulations, standards and statutory requirements.
* Provide technical support, guidance and supervision to junior team members and contractors, while working collaboratively across site functions.
What are the requirements?
* Completed relevant engineering apprenticeship and qualified to City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).
* The ability to use Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
* Knowledge of wiring regulations BS7671 (18th edition)
* Suitable health and safety qualification/experience (Training can be provided)
* Emissions monitoring qualification/experience (Training can be provided)
* The ideal candidate would be multiskilled or willing to be trained
