The Electrical Control and Instrumentation (EC&I) Technician is critical in providing 24/7 engineering support for all EC&I maintenance activities, inclusive of both preventative maintenance and reactive tasks.

Hourly Rate: £21.40 + shift premium

What youll do:
Support all aspects of electrical engineering, to include preventative and routine maintenance of all plant machinery, 3 phase electrical equipment, and PLC/automation.
Attend to unscheduled/emergency maintenance situations with urgency and precision.
Improve system reliability through preventative maintenance checks.
Carry out any ad hoc electrical maintenance or projects.

What youll bring:
NVQ Level 3 Electrical qualification, a completed electrical apprenticeship, or demonstrable relevant experience within an Electrical Engineering, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Shift Engineer or equivalent role.
Demonstrable knowledge of Automation or PLC (Programmable Logic Controller).
Understanding of BS 7671 Electrical Regulations.
