A prestigious environmental recruitment consultancy is seeking a consultant Ecologist to join a growing, forward thinking ecological consultancy based in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity for an Ecologist to work with one of the UK's most respected ecology and arboricultural consultancies, delivering surveys and solutions that support planning and development projects nationwide.

In this role as a Consultant Ecologist, you will be involved in a variety of projects, taking them from initial survey stages through to completion, while providing support to both public and private sector clients.

Undertake a range of ecological surveys (e.g. protected species, habitat assessments)
Produce high-quality reports to support planning applications
Liaise with clients and planning authorities
Manage projects and support junior team membersThis Ecologist role offers a mix of fieldwork and report writing, with projects primarily based around Liverpool and surrounding areas.

The candidate will require a degree in Ecology or a related subject, a clean and valid driving licence, and access to a vehicle. Candidates must live in or near Kent and have the full right to work in the UK.
