This is an excellent opportunity for a Consultant Ecologist to work on varied projects across the region, with opportunities to develop your technical skills and professional experience within a supportive team.
The Consultant Ecologist will be involved in:
* Preliminary Ecological Appraisals and ecological impact assessments
* Protected species surveys, mitigation and licensing
* Biodiversity Net Gain assessments and monitoring
* Habitat and botanical surveys
* Ecological management plans and construction-related ecological support
* Ecological Clerk of Works duties where required
* Supporting clients through planning and development projects

Requirements:
* Experience working within ecological consultancy
* Relevant ecology, environmental science or related qualification
* Experience with protected species and habitat surveys
* Understanding of BNG, ecological assessment and planning
* Strong report writing and communication skills
* Full UK driving licence
* Full right to work in the UK
* Living in Wolverhampton or within a commutable distance of the office
