These projects pass through environmentally sensitive areas, making ecology a critical part of successful delivery. That's where you'll come in. The Role... This is a hands-on, site-based role where you'll work alongside operational teams to identify ecological risks, protect sensitive habitats and species, and help ensure environmental commitments are met. You'll undertake ecological inspections, pre-start checks and site walkovers, provide ecological supervision and watching briefs where required, and advise project teams on mitigation measures and ecological controls. You'll be a trusted source of ecological expertise, helping teams understand constraints, solve problems and deliver works in the right way. Here's some of the activities that you'll be involved in... Providing ecological advice and support throughout the construction phase. Undertaking pre-start checks, walkovers and site inspections.
