The Role

As a Teacher of Economics, you will:

Deliver engaging and challenging Economics lessons at KS5, with the potential to support related subjects where appropriate.
Inspire students to develop a strong understanding of economic theory and its practical applications.
Promote critical thinking, debate, and independent learning.
Prepare students for examination success through effective planning, teaching, and assessment.
Monitor student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.
Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities.
Play an active part in the wider life of the school community.

The Successful Candidate Will Have

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be working towards achieving QTS.
A degree in Economics or a closely related subject.
Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Economics.
The ability to engage, motivate, and challenge students of all abilities.
High expectations of behaviour, attendance, and academic achievement.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to inclusive education and student success.
