About the Role:

• Deliver engaging and intellectually stimulating Economics lessons for KS3, KS4, and/or KS5 students.


• Develop and implement innovative lesson plans aligned with the National Curriculum and the school's ethos.


• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.


• Effectively assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote academic growth.


• Collaborate with colleagues within the Economics department and across the wider school to ensure the continuous development of a robust curriculum.


• Remain current with the latest teaching methodologies and developments in the field of Economics.

Qualifications & Experience:

• A strong academic background in Economics, with a relevant degree.


• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Economics.


• Proven experience in teaching Economics at the secondary school level (KS3, KS4, and/or KS5 desirable).


• A demonstrably passionate and engaging teaching style.


• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
