About the Role:

• Design and deliver engaging and informative Economics lessons across all year groups, adhering to the National Curriculum.


• Cultivate a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and a deep understanding of economic concepts.


• Guide students in developing a comprehensive knowledge of economic theories, historical trends, and contemporary issues.


• Prepare students for success in external examinations (GCSE, A-Level, as applicable).


• Collaborate with colleagues in the Economics department and other departments to create interdisciplinary projects and enhance the overall learning experience.


• Contribute to the school's academic excellence and participate in extracurricular activities related to Economics.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Possesses a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Economics or a closely related discipline.


• Demonstrates a strong passion for Economics and a captivating teaching style.
