Job Title: EDM Engineer - Spark & Wire Erosion
?? Location: Glasgow | ?? Full-time, 37 hours/week | Shift work, Monday to Friday
Salary: Circa £45k. Depending on experience
Reporting to: Manufacturing Lead

Are you a time-served EDM Engineer with a passion for precision and quality? Our client is seeking a skilled Spark & Wire Erosion Engineer to join their team in Glasgow. You'll play a key role in producing high-precision components using advanced EDM techniques, working in a collaborative and safety-focused environment.

?? What You'll Do

• Set up and operate Spark and Wire Erosion machines to perform EDM precision machining
• Load raw materials and unload finished parts
• Interpret and work from technical drawings to meet customer tolerances
• Monitor and adjust machine settings to maintain optimal performance
• Record production data and report any equipment issues
• Conduct routine machine inspections for mechanical or safety concerns
• Maintain well-stocked tooling and material to minimise downtime
• Follow safety guidelines and manufacturing standards at all times
• Provide flexibility and support during peak production periods
