Responsibilities:

As an EDM Machinist, you will:

• Set up and operate multiple EDM machines while adhering to safety protocols
• Ensure the quality and inspection of your work, taking ownership of your tasks
• Capture all production and non-productive hours accurately
• Monitor machine performance and conduct cycle inspections
• Collaborate effectively during shift handovers to maintain seamless operations
• Report non-conforming parts and contribute to root cause analysis

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

• Proven experience operating EDM and wire machines
• Strong understanding of CNC machine code and setup parameters
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Familiarity with Duplex and Nickel Alloy materials
• Excellent numerical and literacy skills for metric conversions
• Good communication skills to foster teamwork

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

• Experience in workshop practises and EDM/Wire process improvement
• Familiarity with parts inspections using gauges
• Experience running multiple similar machines
