Education Compliance Officer

We're Hiring: Education Compliance Officer - Immediate Start Preferred

Location: Debden, Essex (Office-Based)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm

• Early finish on Fridays

• Reduced hours during school holidays

• Casual dress code

• Full training and handover provided

About the Role:
JDS Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Education Compliance Officer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of compliance processes, particularly within the education sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support candidates through the registration and compliance process

• Ensure all documentation is collected, processed, and stored accurately and efficiently

• Perform compliance checks and maintain up-to-date candidate files

• Process DBS applications and chase references

• Understand and follow GDPR and safeguarding practices

• Upload and manage documents within our database

• Keep abreast of relevant policies and industry regulations

Required Skills & Attributes:

• Previous experience in education recruitment compliance is highly desirable

• Excellent telephone manner and communication skills

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines

• Proactive, professional, and customer-focused approach
