Medway Council is seeking five experienced Education Health and Care (EHC) Coordinators to join our SEND and Inclusion Service on a permanent basis.
?? Salary: £31,283 - £37,181 per annum
?? Location: Hybrid – Gun Wharf Office + Medway Hubs (3 days/week)
?? Contract: Permanent

About the Role: As an EHC Coordinator, you will manage the full lifecycle of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) for young people aged 0-25. You’ll work collaboratively with families, schools, and professionals to ensure every plan is tailored, outcome-focused, and fully compliant with statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and review EHCPs in line with legal and policy frameworks
• Act as the main point of contact for families and professionals
• Work closely with education, health, and social care providers
• Ensure compliance with the Children and Families Act 2014 and SEND Code of Practice (2015)
• Maintain accurate records and support continuous service improvement

What We’re Looking For: ? Previous local authority casework experience is essential
? Strong knowledge of both pre-14 and post-14 education pathways
? Proven experience managing EHCPs and navigating statutory processes
? Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills
