Communicate effectively with parents, carers, schools, local authorities and other professionals involved in the pupil's education.

Encourage positive behaviour, emotional regulation and social development.

Maintain accurate records of sessions, attendance, progress and any relevant concerns.

Safeguard and promote the welfare of all children and young people.

Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional boundaries and safeguarding procedures.

A flexible approach to meeting individual learning needs.

Good organisational and time-management skills.

The ability to work independently and manage your own teaching sessions.

Knowledge of the National Curriculum and differentiated teaching strategies.

Experience supporting pupils with EHCPs and individual learning plans.

The ideal candidate will be:

Patient, understanding and compassionate.

Reliable, professional and trustworthy.
