Educational Psychologist | 10862 | Permanent Contract | 37 hours per week | Soulbury A Scale, Points 2-7, starting on Point 4 (pro rata for part-time) plus SPA's as appropriate | Soulbury A Scale| Norwich

 

Are you a qualified Educational Psychologist or are you currently studying for a Doctorate in Educational Psychology and due to finish in September 2027? Our recent service restructure puts Educational Psychology and Specialist Support (EPSS) at the heart of Norfolk’s SEND strategy. We have big ambitions to provide families with exceptional support via family hubs, our new Local First Inclusion programme and specialist interventions. We work in innovative family clusters to improve outcomes for children across a multi-disciplinary team. It really is an exciting time to join Norfolk County Council.

You will have: 

  • A degree in Psychology- min 2:1  
  • A doctorate in Educational Psychology (or be in your final year)
  • HCPC registration 
  • You share our passion for supporting children and young people and providing them with the best possible outcomes.  
  • We would welcome applications from trainee Educational Psychologists who are due to qualify in September 2027 and applications from internationally trained Educational Psychologists who are looking to relocate to the UK.
