Effluent Plant Operative

Effluent Plant Operator To run and maintain the efficient operation of our effluent treatment plant to ensure it complies with all regulatory sampling taken by Yorkshire water. Responsibilities • To maintain site health and safety rules
• Efficient use of chemicals through the optimized operation of the effluent plant
• To assist the engineering department by replacing wear parts in the effluent plant
• Maintain good housekeeping in all areas of the effluent plant and associated areas
• Carry out un-supervised maintenance and cleaning of process equipment (low/medium skill)
• Correct operation of the Effluent plant to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Overseeing of chemical deliveries
• Filling out paperwork as required
• Recording of daily/weekly readings around site Key skills • Good communicator
