EH199 - Full-Time Chef - Battersea, UK

A relaxed ex-pat family of five living in Battersea, London, is seeking an experienced, professional private chef to manage all daily meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). The role requires producing high-quality, authentic Korean, Japanese, and Chinese cuisine 4-5 times a week, with Western options for variety. The chef must prepare enough food for the entire week to ensure seamless dining.

A tentative schedule will be Monday through Friday.

• 10:00 AM: Arrive and prep lunch for parents.
• Afternoon: Prepare dinner for the day and breakfast for the following day. (On Fridays the chef would prepare meals for the family over the weekend and breakfast on Monday.)
• 7:30 PM: Finish.

This role is to start as soon as possible.

Menu Planning & Cooking:

• Develop weekly, nutritious menus, incorporating authentic Korean (approx. 3x/week) and Japanese/Chinese (approx. 1-2x/week) dishes, along with pastas and other Western cuisine.
• Prepare enough fresh, healthy meals to cover family dining for the whole week.
• Source high-quality ingredients. (Close coordination with household driver/PA for procurement).
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in the kitchen.
• No allergies; must produce family-style, healthy meals 

• Mandarin speaking would be a bonus
• Strong organizational skills and ability to plan weekly menus.
• Proven experience as a private chef in a high-net-worth (HNW) household or 5* restaurant.
• Easy-going personality, fitting into a family-oriented home.

• Legally able to work in the UK
• Team player with a pitch-in attitude
• Discreet and calm personality
• Flexible and with a positive approach to the role
• Expertise in authentic Korean and Japanese cuisine is essential
• Ability to cook Western/Chinese dishes
• Comfortable with pets (The family have two cats)

• £70,000 annual salary
