EHS Advisor (Facilities / Construction / NEBOSH)

£50,000 - £55,000 + Progression + Training + Excellent Benefits

Site-Based - Ware, Commutable from: Hertford, Harlow, Broxbourne, Stevenage, St Albans, Letchworth

Are you a Health & Safety professional with NEBOSH certification and a strong understanding of CDM Regulations? Do you want to take ownership of EHS delivery on a major site, working with a respected facilities and engineering business?

This is a standout opportunity to join a nationally recognised company where you'll lead on site compliance, drive continuous improvement, and play a key role in building a proactive safety culture across operations.

As the EHS Advisor, you'll act as the central point of contact for all EHS matters, delivering audits, overseeing contractor compliance, running training programmes, and influencing stakeholders across all levels. You'll need to be confident in holding your ground and ensuring that standards are upheld, especially when working with external contractors and supply chain partners.

A background in facilities, engineering, or construction is ideal, particularly with experience managing contractor relationships and demanding respect for process, safety, and expectations.

The Role:
* Oversee EHS performance across a large client site in Ware, ensuring full compliance and continuous improvement
* Deliver audits, incident investigations, safety briefings, and training programmes
* Take a firm and influential role in managing contractors, enforcing high standards and clear communication

The Person:
* NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent Level 3) is essential
* Strong understanding of CDM Regulations and safety frameworks
* Confident working with contractors and supply chain partners, able to command respect and ensure high performance
